About us

Established in 1991, Nakladatelstvi FRAGMENT is nowadays one of the largest and most recognized publishers in the Czech Republic. Every year, our original titles are presented at the international book fairs in Frankfurt on the Main, Bologna, and Prague.

By the end of 2010, we sold almost 400 original projects abroad. We understand that each market has its specific needs and we always try to find ways how to fully satisfy our customer. According to your needs and preferences, we can sell rights or print the whole book for you. We are of course ready to help you to adapt our titles for your market – change format, add new illustrations by the same artist, modify text material etc. Just tell us what you need!

Since 1995, Fragment also succesfuly cooperates with many renowned publishers around the world, such as Random House Children´s Books, HarperCollins Publishers, Scholastic, Egmont, Loewe, Caramel, Macmillan Publishers, Chicken House, Make Believe Ideas, Hinkler Books, Dorling Kindersley, Quarto Group etc. Thanks to these strong partnerships, Fragment has published lot of world bestsellers in Czech and Slovak language:
